Authorize once, preview what will be imported, then confirm.

1. Start the Import
When creating a new server, choose "Import from Discord". A Discord authorization window opens. Log in and grant GameVox permission to see your servers.

2. Pick a Server & Preview
Select which Discord server to clone. GameVox shows a preview of what will be created: text channels, voice channels, categories, roles, emoji count, and soundboard sound count.

3. Confirm & Watch It Build
Hit confirm and watch the progress bar as GameVox creates the server, builds the channel structure, imports roles, downloads emoji, and imports soundboard sounds. Each item appears live as it's added.

Already have a GameVox server? Import emoji from Discord without creating a new one.

PNG and GIF emoji are downloaded at 128px quality from Discord's CDN. Animated emoji keep their animations intact. Names are sanitized to lowercase alphanumeric and underscores (max 32 characters). Duplicates get automatic suffixes (_2, _3, etc.).

1. Go to Server Settings > Emoji. Click "Import from Discord".

2. Log in to Discord, grant access, and choose which server to import emoji from.

3. Emoji download and upload in the background. You get a notification when it's done.

Already have a GameVox server? Import soundboard clips from Discord using the Discord button in the soundboard panel.

Sound clips are downloaded from Discord's CDN and re-uploaded to GameVox. Supports MP3, OGG, WAV, WebM, M4A, AAC, and FLAC. Max 2 MB per clip. Each clip's name, volume level, and associated emoji are preserved. Name collisions are handled automatically with numeric suffixes.

Requirements

What you need to import from Discord

  • GameVox bot in your Discord server. The bot needs access to read channels, roles, emoji, and soundboard sounds from the Discord server.
  • Admin or Manage Server permission. You need Administrator or Manage Server permission on the Discord server you're cloning.
  • Silver+ for standalone emoji import. Standard (free) servers don't have custom emoji. Full server clone works on any tier.
  • Desktop or web app. Discord import is available on Windows, macOS, Linux, and the web app.
